i started out using the guest list manager on the knot, simply because that was the website that i discovered first. but the more i use it, the more i find it quirky and confusing.
the liw guest list manager seems overly simplistic and doesn't have all the features as the one on the knot (hint, hint, ron and liz )
haven't even looked at the one on wedding channel. maybe it's just my computer, but that site is so SLOW.
how do you guys manage your guest lists? do you have a favorite website or do you just do it by hand?

Re: How do you manage your guest list? (With poll)
i put it into microsoft excel.
then, i also made a seperate rsvp list that automatically takes what i am paying per head, and as the people rsvp, i input the invite #, and the # of people, and it calculates the amount owed to wcc, minus the amount we've paid.
if anyone wants the template, FM me!

Excel Spreadsheet.
It has three tabs: Bride's Side Groom's Side Table Arrangements
Under the Bride & Groom's tab I had sub categories: Mom's Side Dad's Side Family Friends Friends Coworkers Misc.
Then I have subtotals and a grand total at the top of the first tab .

Re: How do you manage your guest list? (With poll)
I used two things - an Act Database where I kept all names and addresses and had subfields with who was to be invited to the shower, bachelorette and wedding, so I could print the lists by choosing the field. Then I linked this to an excel spreadsheet so it automatically updated who was and wasn't coming. It worked better than imagined!

Microsoft Excel...all the way
FH laughs because when we discuss something I say to him, 'Wait, let me get the spreadsheet.'

Re: How do you manage your guest list? (With poll)
I made up the list with pen and paper.
Then when it was time to get serious and start doing invitations I used an excel sheet.
This way it was pre-numbered for my rsvp envelopes.
I used a yes, no and # of people column.
