My fiance and I are looking at Reception halls and we are trying to decided on which place. I am told I will get a feeling when I walk into the place but I did not feel anything. Right now we like Crest Hollow and Woodbury Country Club. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Re: How do you narrow the choices down?
I think you just know. I had been to a lot of different halls for weddings, but when I went to see The Miller Place Inn, me and FH just knew it was the place! I'm sure you will find something great. Best of luck!

I didnt get that feeling but, love my RH!!! they offered us the best deal, especially for the summer!!! We debated over 2 halls for awhile and our hall gave us soo much and it is one wedding at a time and on the water. You have to figure out what it is you are looking for and call alot of places before you go, that helps.

FH got 'the feeling' and then when we re-visited to bring the deposit I got the 'this is it' feeling.
You just kinda picture...this is where I'm going to get married.

You compare every other place to that one place and none of them come even close.

You need to just decide who offers you the most of what you want and you also have to feel comfortable with the people you are dealing with at the RH. Also I can vouch for Crest Hollow and WWCC. Do you like the pool or the golf course better? I was in my cousins wedding at CH and i really loved the cocktail hour by the pool and the bridal suite is really nice....HTH!

I think it's like finding a place to live, you just 'know' this is it...can't explain it, you just know it.
I've been to weddings at Crest Hollow...always thought they were really nice and good food, so I'd have to say I don't think you'd go wrong there.

What everyone is saying to absolutely true - you'll know it's right when you find the right one, you wont have any hesitations or questions in your mind you'll be totally at piece
