How do you refer to LIW girls when talking to friends/family?

I call you girls 'my friends from my website'...lol

Or, if I'm referring to something, I will say 'one of the girls said/did', etc...lol

My BFF/MB doesn't think Im crazy though. She is on a national families forum. I'm trying to recruit her to LIF...lol

I say 'a friend of mine'... awwww how cute, but I really do. Unless I really dont like you then I will refrence you as a 'bride from the website'

Plus I ran in to like 3 people that I new at the Milk & Sugar GTG in June and they were very confused on what I was doing... with a name tag~

I used to say the website I go on. Now that everyone knows the website I say the girls on the website.

LOL I always refer to you guys as 'the brides.' Like I'll say 'Im going out with a bunch of brides later.' FH has accepted this as normal. When my parents talk about Kerri and Kelly they'll say 'the Brides that came to your party...'

I say 'one of the girls from LIW said....' Or if I've met them and I refer to them and say '(name) from LIW said....' LoL

lol.....this thread is funny.

I refer to this place in 2 ways......

1.) 'the girls'
ex: 'I asked THE GIRLS about this today, and they said...'
Its so funny cause my FH automatically knows who im talking about at this point. LOL

2.) If im just talking about the actual website itself I call it LIW, pronounced L-I-DUBB.
ex: 'I'll be hanging out on L-I-DUBB today.' LOL

i refer to everyone as the brides or the girls from the boards.

I always say 'one of the girls on the website..' or if I'm talking to FH about something I read or talking about a vendor i'll say 'but THEY gave it rave reviews!' and he'll ask who 'they' are. And I'll say 'the other brides I talk to everyday' ..then he responds with 'oh you're computer friends' haha he dreads the night time cause I sit in front of the tv with him and I have the laptop in front of me typing away. And I barely even know hes there lol

you know what?? i don't really know...i think i say 'the girls from the boards'. I remember a while back i posted something and it was like an opinion poll or whatev....it was almost 100% against whatever the idea was....so i told FH 'maybe it's not a good idea....all the girls voted no'....we were driving....and he just looked at me.....and shook his head.....then AND I GOT SO MAD!!! lol i said HEY THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!! THIS IS ALL WE DO ALL DAY!! DON'T YOU GET IT????

So does my FH. Thinks I am crazy cause I refer to 'the girls' by their screennames!!!

imaginary friends...love it

I also heard someone refer th 'us' as 'friends who live in the computer'. I forget who it was, but it was at a gtg, so it wasnt inamaginary person...lol

People look at me and Heather (angl2001) funny when we talk about the boards cause we use the lingo when we talk and no one has a clue what we're talking about!

Tori9299 & I do the same thing at work. We use LIW lingo all the time!
