One of my bm whom I have known over 5 years is irking me. She can't keep her mouth shut about my wedding. I haven't even decided on my colors but show the bm's some dresses I would like to have. And, it's like she goes and puts out a bullentin of every detail of my wedding. How can I tell her gently or bluntly I no longer want you in my wedding.

Re: How do you remove someone from your bridal party?
rather than kick her out, maybe tell her whats bothering you first. Give her a chance to redeem herself. You obv. asked her to be in your wedding because she is someone you care about and want there to support you that day. Don't saked her to not be in it without talking to her first!
Goodluck!

Definitley speak to her and see why she is doing these things. Let her know that it is really bothering you and see what she says.

have you tried to talk to her first? Its a very difficult thing to just 'remove' a friend form your BP. If you end up asking her to step down, dont plan on being friends with this person anymore because she's likely not to forgive you.

This is a decsion that you have to be sure about because keep in mind there is 5 years of friendship behind you guys. My suggestion would be maybe to talk to her about whats irking you first and then if it still persists ask her to please step down as a bridesmaid. In how you wrote - I feel like it would be out of anger right now and you have to ask yourself is it worth possibly ending a friendship?
I would def. try to talk to her first and tell her how you feel and would appreciate it if she would keep your business especially about YOUR wedding to herself. It is a personal thing and I totally understand how you don't want the whole neighboorhood knowing your plans.
I would talk to her first...take a few deep breaths and get your thoughts together first.
HTH Good Luck and let us know how you make out

Re: How do you remove someone from your bridal party?
Telling someone you no longer want them in your bridal party is telling them you no longer want their friendship basically - that they are no longer important enough to be part of your day.
I would suggest expressing to her how you feel before you just tell her to stay away. Just tell her you;d appreciate if she backed off a little.

I guess she means that the girl is telling all of her wedding plans to everybody...and u do not want everybody to know every detail to ur wedding before they get there...I sure as hell know I dont.
And it may bother a bride that her BP member cant keep a secret. Cant hold water...cant even wear secret deodorant...ya know cause they are always telling what they know!

I would nicely explain it's early on and you aren't ready to share detials yet. She may just be excited about it. Or is she bad mouthing your ideas, then I would have a long talk.
