A friend of mine is not registered for her bridal shower, well she doesnt want one but her mom is doing it anyway...how can she word that she is not registered..
cant really imply to give gift cardds but ....what does she do..

I agree. Usally they just say where your registered. so if you don't put anything I guess people will know.

Is she having a theme to her shower? I've heard of people doing this - like a lingerie or kitchen theme- but with no specific registry.... I thought that was a cute idea.... Otherwise, if not & no registry- I would just not list one.... her mom- or whoever is coordinating and has their # on the invite may get calls/ ?'s... but I think it's better to just not put anything....

it's been the latest fad in my community, and it is frowned upon.. but anyway.. i've gotten numerous invites that read..
'no boxed gifts please'
'we are not registered as we will be relocating'
hth.. and this is mainly done to deter people from bringing gifts to wedding and cash is preferred..
