How do you tell people about your room block?

I'm getting ready to order my invites (!) and was wondering, how do I tell my guests about the room block? Should I order an additional reception style card that matches my invite with hotel info or should I just type up something simple on the computer and put it in the envelope?

I believe a lot of hotels have cards that you can include with your invitations when you mail them out, if not you can certainly create an insert yourself including the info--What name the block of rooms are being held under, the names of the hotels, their phone numbers & addresses & by what date your guests need to reserve their rooms by and that would be included with the invitation with the directions to your ceremony & reception and the RSVP card & envelope.

This!! If you dont want to spend the money purchasing another insert card most hotels give you inserts you can include with your invite. In addition, you could also put the infromation on your wedding website.

Our hotel gave us cards and we are going to just put them in the invitation and we also sent them out in our save the dates so out of towners had a heads up.

Our hotel gave cards. Our invitation cards are white and the hotel card is ivory. I'm just going to throw them in the envelope behind the invite since they don't match.

Save yourself time and money, use the hotel cards. It will stand out more to the guests as well.

I had direction cards printed so I had the hotel information put on the bottom. But the hotel should have cards for you if you don't want to print cards, if you FM me your email I will send you a picture of what I did.
