How do you write a cover letter if...

the stupid job posting doesn't give a name to address the letter to and you can't find the information ANYWHERE!?

I don't want to write 'To whom it may concern' because that's so generic and unprofessional and only makes me appear as though I don't really care enough about the position to track down the HR person's name!

What do I do?

I would also like to add that if anyone is in the market to hire a short girl with cute shoes who enjoys writing snarky reviews of bad television shows and scathing stories about insane co-workers... I might know someone.

Call the company/office and ask for the Human Resources dept and ask them who will be reviewing resumes for your particular job.

I was thinking that. Good call, thanks!

Julz... I was contemplating 'Human Resources Director', but like you said... a hint of cheese to that!

I think you should add 'brunette traffic cone' to the description, no?
