How Do/Did you decide on the hotel to block?

What was your deciding factor on the hotel you blocked? Was it the cheapest rate? Did you go by the look of the room? All the hotels for our hall are around the same distance (15-20minutes) so I don’t know what to go by.

We decided based on cheapest rate and one that had a bar.
