Im intersted in a Maggie dress that goes for about $1200--Burtons in Melville will sell it for $600--I know they are wholesale for flowers, but dresses they are like half price.
A few people say I should feel weary and not go. Any opinions????

I have to disagree. I've heard nothing but good things about them. From what I know the whole business is wholesale which is why they can sell gowns and BM dresses so cheap. When I went there to try on dresses there was another bride there that was going for her first fitting. The dress was also a maggie sottero and shoe looked beautiful in it.

I bought my maggie dress from them. They were cheaper then other places but not that much cheaper. I think the dress I wanted was like $1200 and I got it from them for $900. I dont remember exactly but they were cheaper and it was a beautiful dress .

Upstairs is burton's bridal. They dont have much of a selection of dresses, but Karen said to call for her quotes on gowns and BM dresses. She said if I order my dress from her the BM's get and extra 15-20% off the all ready discounted price.

Call them to make an appointment. The place is tiny so they only try to help one bride at a time.

No, I beleive they can get any dress you ask for.......they would need the model numbers.
I dont think they have much in stock, they can just order them for you once you know--if you're going to look there just to browse, dont bother b/c they dont carry many samples--its basically good if you already know what you want (style#/manuf), etc.

They carry other dresses, but heads up, they dont have much of a selection.

They're so nice over there. I got my dress there, and went back Saturday too look for Bridemaids dresses. Don't be taken aback by appearances, the place doesn't have a great ambiance but they are nice, honest, and budget friendly. If you see a dress somewhere else, they'll order it for you.

I got my 1200 demetrios dress for under 800! It was exactly the gown I wanted and it was LOVELY!!!!!!!!! Give Burtons a try!

i ordered my dress from burton's also. I saw it in another store and they were able to order it for less $. Their selection is small but they are very nice; if you see a dress you like, they can quote you a price on it.
