A & B list work for sending out invites??? I have 190 on our list but my miminum is 150 and want to try to stay as close to 150 as possible. Who do you put on the A list without the B list finding out? We have to invite the Aunts and uncles but it's not nessesary for the cousins but I don't know if the aunts and uncles would discuss it with them? Also what date do you put for the response? We already have sept 3rd for the response cards I already have so what would I put for the other ones? Thanks in advance!!

Re: How does the......
The date for the B invites would depend on when you have to give the final headcount to the caterer. You want to give them time to respond and allow a couple of days for phone calls.
I would not recommend splitting families up with A & B list invites. I am sure they will figure it out and feelings will probably be hurt. Ideally the B list people are not associtated with the A list people - co-workers are a good example here.
Your guest list is not that much larger then your minimum. On average 15% of the people respond no which brings you to 160 people. Which is pretty close to your minimum. You don't want to be paying for empty chairs either. (FYI - we invited 180 people to our wedding and ended up with about 135 people at the wedding)
