I plan on starting to look for dresses in May.. and I can only go on Saturdays... so how early should I start calling places to book my appointments? I plan on going to Lillette's, Helen's, Demetrios at Macy's and probably 1 other. Also, will saturdays be insane at these places? Any advice you girls could give me I would really appreciate!!!

Saturdays might be a little busy, but if you have an appointment it *shouldn't* be a problem. I'd call 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time to make the apptmt. Good luck!

Hi It depends where you are making an appointment. It can be 2 or 3 weeks. I made the earliest appointment they had. HTH

Call a few weeks ahead of time. All my appts were on the weekend and I had no problems, except for RK bridal which was a zoo.

I would call at least 2 weeks out - some places seemed to book faster than others. I called on a Monday and there were few spots open for that weekend....

If its may you could make appts now, just to have on ur calendar and get it out of the way. But I've called and gotten in that same week.

I would try to make appointments soon. This way you can get the first appointment. The store will be less crowded.

I only went dress shopping on Saturday's. I called about 10 days in advance and made an appointment for whenever the store opened. This worked so well, and I never had to wait.

also fyi, if you go with a demetrios gown by macy's you can use macy's giftcards and macy's charge as well! I have paid about $550 in giftcards!
