register??? I have seen a lot of you talking about registries and was curious if us 06 brides were registering already. If you did was it because you had an e-party and if you didn't have an e-party are you registered already? We had an e-party but did not register for it since it was only immediate family and BP.....

I did mine right away because we got engaged in November and I knew that both of our mothers would get us stuff for X-mass off it ...So I did mine early

We did ours a month or so after getting engaged b/c we had people calling our parents asking where we registered so they could send gifts and because we ended up having an engagement party!

I will be registering in January. We had a small engagement party with just our familes (about 45 people), but since the party was a surprise to me I didn't register for it.

We haven't registered yet, partially bc we didn't have an e-party. We were engaged in November but between my bday and our own xmas shopping we didn't have the time to do it. I'd like to get it done by the end of the summer!

we are not having an engagement party so we have not registered yet... some people have bought engagement gifts are close family and they spoke to my mom who gave them ideas, and they all worked out perfectly... i got beautiful cake server and knife, my swavorski toasting flutes, some other little things I would need and $$$
We will probably register in the summer at some point, so that we give people tmie to buy things, I k ow I have aunts who are waiting for me to put stuff of the registry so they can buy it before anyone else...

we are not having an engagement party so some people who wanted to give us engagements gifts asked where we are registered.
we also bought a house so my family has asked about our registry to buy house warming gifts so we thought it was appropriate time to register

We also bought a house, so we are waiting for it to be finished and then we will register. If anyone wanted to get us housewarming gifts they can go to the list.-Also x-mas and my b-day are also a month a part

We are officially engaged for only a little over 2 weeks and just registered this past weekend for our February 18th wedding. People gave us gifts before we regsitered and other people were asking us what we needed. I told them to wait until we registered and THEN they could do as they wished. The only thing we didn't register for was bedding and linens because they are seasonal and may end up discontinued by the time we get married. All of the places we registered at told us to wait and add that stuff to the registry about 3-4 months before the wedding - closer to when a shower would be.

My FI and I registered a few weeks after we were engaged. we're having an engagement party in July, but thats not why we registered. I think we did it just because its fun. Plus we didnt feel pressured to put EVERYTHING on yet.

I've been registered for over a year, we did it when we first got engaged. People started asking about it form day 1, and we did get some gifts right away, and for our brithdays and xmas we've gotten gifts since then.

We did ours about a month after we got engaged. My family kept asking me too because they wanted to get us gifts and we are having an e-party this summer.
