how early is everyone going to book flowers/limo

I've taken about a month break from planning and even though we are not getting married till april 2007 i'm itchy to finish booking and then just worry about getting all the money in to pay off the vendors.. Just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how far in advance to book limos/flowers and if anyone has any ideas as to where to go ... happy planning

well i have my florist appointment on january 28th, i want to be booked with the big stuff by arpil-june this way i have less on my list to do

see i agree.. i kind of want to get everything booked by like june myself and then just spend the rest of the time paying everything off

im going to designs by rose first, i heard a lot of good things from the boards, hopefully she will be the only one i have to go to, i also heard flowers by michele is really great

We have been to a few places but haven't made any decisions as of yet. What we did was get written price quotes because as of 06 the prices go up. So if we book them within 60 days we get the price we were quoted, after that we're basicly screwed and have to pay the going 06 price. Just something for you to keep in mind.Everything is booked except the limo's,photographer,videographer and flowers.

I'm trying to book the big stuff (limo, church, photographer, florist) buy March mainly because I'm not planning from April-beginning of August because I'll be studying for the NY/NJ bar exams. I do't want to wait until August because most of my top choices will probably be booked already.

Rose is amazing IMO!!!! Definitely check them out. I booked them!!! I think it's never too early to book anything. I already have my florist and dj in addition to the hall and church. We are in the process of looking for a photographer and videographer. Good luck and let me know if you want any info on Designs by Rose!!!

how much is a decent price for the florest.. i've heard of everything from like $300 to $3000 so i'm a little worried... how much is designs by rose ?

I would get everything out of the way that way its less stressful on you guys- we booked flowers and waiting for the limos til mid january and then we are finished with all the major vendors! Hope that helps!!

My weddings just about a year away....we booked our limos today and I went to the florist 2 weeks ago but still didnt put $$ down yet...but will be doing that by next week.

I have limos and florists booked.

I would say check out Royalty for limos (best prices I have seen) and either Flower Michele or Designs by Rose.

I also like to get things out of the way. I booked my Hall, DJ, Limo, and Photo/Video. Next I have to work on Flowers.

Is anyone using the vendors that the hall suggested??

Im gonna start looking around for flowers - and also photography/video, and bands - i think those are the most important right now.

Yeah me too, I might wait to book flowers this May, after the semester and book limos around the same time. I'm really in no rush. Those are the two main vendors I have left to book. I think I want to take a break for awhile.

i have booked major vendors already.. video, photo, dj, hall, church, i have found the florist i want.. i just haven't left a down payment yet.

We are trying to get limos done by either this week or next to still get those 05 prices..

i went to 1 yesterday. he said i was lucky b/c the book of prices for 06 comes out next week..

i have 1 guy to check out 2day 1 tomorrow .. and i should have it narrowed down...
