I've taken about a month break from planning and even though we are not getting married till april 2007 i'm itchy to finish booking and then just worry about getting all the money in to pay off the vendors.. Just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how far in advance to book limos/flowers and if anyone has any ideas as to where to go ... happy planning

im using the vendors i like best. my band was a vendor, but my photographer wasnt...

we are using the photographer and dj that the hall recommended but not florist or limo because the prices were way to much. I don't think it matters too much, just have to make sure there is strong communication amongst everyone!

Im gonna start looking around for flowers - and also photography/video, and bands - i think those are the most important right now.

just a suggestion, check out sir oliver for limos- and country house florist-for flowers...
I saw 6 florists 12 photographers called around for limos- saw 2
any questions with any i met with let me know

I wasn't planning on booking a florist until I pick a color & we pick out the bridesmaids dresses.. this way I can bring a swatch to the florist... so I wasn't planning on doing the bridesmaids dresses until July/August ... so probably around September i'll book florist. Then limos shortly after that.
