I posted this on Brides helping Brides but I'd love an 08ers opinion!!!
OK, so we've been looking around for limos and one place really turned me off. I called to make an appointment to see their party bus and the guy gave me a really hard time about coming so far in advance from the wedding. I know most places only have about 2 buses and I wanted to make sure to get one before it books up. He just kept insisting that the cars could change in the next year and he doesn't understand why we want to come now. It made me feel really uncomfortable and embarrassed!!! And anyway, WHY would you talk someone out of giving you business????? So my question is: IS this too early? Our wedding is 5/9/08. Thanks.

I dont know if I'd say it was too early, but I do think you could wait a bit for limos. Limos is like the only thing I didnt do yet, I am waiting till atleast July for that and my wedding is in July 08. I f you really want to book, just go to a different place.

I would also wait till about 6 months ..no wait 8 months before to do a limo.

I don't know what's too early... maybe you should go to a different vendor instead. I also think that he was being a pain because the prices changes every year-- that's the only reason I could think of.

i dont think its too early for you! why not get it all done now? Why wait and risk the chance they wont have what you want when you want it.

I could understand waiting a little longer to do the limo thing BUT I don't understand how someone could try to pretty much run off a customer! What a JERKO!

it is definitely not too early, so many girls on the 08 forum have already booked it...I am also getting a limo bus and i am planning on booking next week...When i had spoken to limo companies nobody said it was too early...do what makes you comfortable.

So I already booked my limos... and no one gave me a hard time. I wanted to book them early because I too booked a limo bus.... plus by booking early i got a great discount..... if it is really important to you to book that particular vendor than wait but if you are comfortable looking into different vendors than look around and book with someone else... i found that some limo busses were much more expensive than others so do some research and see the best deal you can find!!!!
