No you are not wrong. You have every right to feel this way. And your sister needs like an intervention. Maybe its not enough that you say something...maybe your mom needs to step in too. Get her friends to say something. She needs to realize this guy is no good. Sounds like he is a disaster. Seriously, you have every right to be upset. But talking to him wont change him...this is who he is. Someone needs to make your sister see how wrong it is. And see what kind of guy he really is.

No way are you wrong....I would be soooo pissed if someone called my 6 1/2 year old son a jerk and spoke to him that way..he is a child. Kids are kids.. I would talk to your sister some more and really tell her how you feel, and see if she handles the situation. I don't think you should have to talk to him, he sounds like an idiot, and your sister should be the one talking to him about how he treats your son. He sounds like a toolbox. But no amount of you or anyone else telling your sister that is going to make her change her mind about him. She has to see that for herself unfortunately

How long are they dating that he feels comfortable yelling at or reprimanding your children?? I have been with my fiance for 5 1/2 years and he has 4 nephews (8,9,12,15) and two neices (8 and 16). They have behavior issues at times and have even cursed at me and get very out of hand.. I would never scream at them if they do something wrong.. I feel awkward enough telling them to stop or ratting them out to their mothers.. this would certainly make me mad.. this is a 6 year old child and a 27 yr old man!!! How dare he call him a jerk.. kids act out he needs to get over it

How come you didn't deck him for talking to your son like that??!! Holy hell what gives him the right to talk like that?! I'm sorry your sister's bf is a freaking jerk! Wow...
I have a 5 year old future step daughter who gets out of line sometimes but I NEVER yell at her or talk to her like that. Thats insane!

I think you're right to be upset, but I think your parents are right too to stay out of it. She's an adult, although still young and stupid, she has to figure this out for herself. All you can do is tell her how you feel (I would also tell her you don't want your kids around this guy and tell her what your son said maybe it'll be a reality check) and then let it go. Tell her you don't want this guy to affect your relationship but you're not comfrotable with him around. If she doesn't listen to that, she's not going to listen at all until she realized what an *** this guy is on her own.
Just try to keep the kids away from him, but don't talk smack about him or your sister in front of them cause that's not cool either. Hopefully she'll get over this guy.

That is what I said I was going to do. I am telling my sister that is it. I am done and my kids can't be around him if he acts like this. I am going to tell her I mentioned this before and that he hasn't changed and I am done. My mom stopped me from becoming a lunatic but I am not looking at or talking to him anymore.

I never talk bad about them in front of my kids. I love my sister but not when she is around him. I am soo concerned for her. I just feel like she is wasting her youth on a jerk. I have talked to her about him here or there in a non threatening way. She always gets nervous and avoids the topic.

This guys is the jerk, and honestly, if he's acting this way to your kids and doesn't care, I would put money on it that he's controlling with your sister too. It's tough to try and lay down the law with her because you risk pushing her away and further into his arms.
Even if she listens to you and says something to him about it, I doubt he listens. He's bottom of the barrel scum (though I do wonder what happened to him to make him this way).
I don't know what you can do other than monitor his interactions with your kids until she wises up and gets rid of him.

I know you're worried about her, you wouldn't be a good sister if you weren't, but when you were 20, would you have listened? I wouldn't have. In fact, I didn't. But I came to my senses and dumped the jerk and now I have a wonderful man at 28.
I didn't mean to imply that you spoke bad of them, I just meant that when people start to get angry it's easy to forget to censor yourself and you don't want it to get to that point.
All you can do is tell her you're worried. Unfortunately, you can't make her do anything, but you CAN make decisions for yourself and your kids, so you can make it a point not to be around him. Maybe if you throw enough hints her way, it'll click.

Wow...this guys sounds like a real winner. Unfortunately you can not tell your sister what to do but I would make it a point to not bring my kids around when he is there. That will suck but you do not need to subject your kids to that guy

He'd be bleeding on the floor if he spoke to my children like that!
Honestly forget talking to your sis. She knows he's an azz.
I'd avoid letting him around my kids and if i saw him being cruel i'd open a can of whoopazz on him. Maybe being embarassed will be a huge wake up call to him.

My hubby is ready to knock him out. He keeps lucking out and my hubby isn't around when he pulls this ****. I try to be calmer but today I wasn't and I think he noticed.

Invite me over. I'd go apesh*t on him. My youngest cousin was a handful. She wasnt rude or defiant, just hyper and easily sidetracked. Once i was in the playground w her and her sis and this woman screamed at her. Omg she was in tears. I told the woman she had 30 secs to leave before she lost a limb. Lol, yeah, you dont yell at other peoples kids.
