Ours is about 45min-1 hour. Ceremony is in Floral Park (LizLen, are you getting married at Our Lady of Victory?) at 3p, Reception is in East Northport w. the cocktail hour starting at 630p. We will probably have buses take the guests back to the hotel bar, which is about 15 min from the reception, so they can relax there. Then buses can take guests to the cocktail hour at 630p. I was hoping to be able to see part of our cocktail hour, but I think we will miss it since we will be taking pictures near Larkfield Manor somewhere (photographer will give us suggestions). I figure by the time we get there, guests will have been partying enough before to be pretty loose

I just hope people dont blow off the church and come to the reception, I hate that!
Edited to tell bride to be that I am originally from Howard Beach! Most of my family will be coming from there to our wedding.

Hmichick - if you're having reception at Larkfield Manor, then I definitely suggest you take your phots at Northport Harbor - email me if you need directions!

I agree with Septemeberbride, I grew up in East Northport, and downtown Northport would be GREAT pics. I was in a wedding party, and we took pics down by the harbor
