i was told that most hotels won't let you until it is 12 months in advance. not sure how true that is, but that's what a DOC told me.

Our hotel wouldn't let us block our rooms until 52 weeks before the date and that is exactly when we did it LOL

My wedding isnt for another 15 months, and the 2 hotels that I have contacted would let me book now if I wanted too.

we set up the room block already, but guests can't begin booking rooms until the 1 year mark. i plan on sending out STDs after that since i'm including hotel info and i don't want there to be an issue with ppl calling to book

I think it depends on the time of year too. I'm in the summer so I was worried about people vacationing and taking up rooms.

its free- id just book it when u get around too it- most hotels give you 10 rooms to start and you go from there- and its held until either the month or week of the wedding
