the wedding is a bridal shower done?

good question-are you trying to figure out when yours is too??
i was telling my mom my prediction is the end of april/begining of may for mine!! ill have to wait to see if i am right!

depends how your bridal party is. Mine is being held less than a month before my wedding. I think they are usually about 2-3 months before the wedding though.

I am getting married 5/19 and my shower is on 3/24...I have no clue if that is when it should happen, but that is how it is going to happen!
(I live out of state, so I know the date in order to fly up to LI).

I think 1-3 months before is sufficient. I believe in surprises, but some choose to know when theirs is .

..no im not trying to figure out when its going to be. I am actually going to be involved in my shower..(I have reasons)..so my MOH is a bit clueless and she was wondering when the shower normall takes place..

I also had to take charge of mine..lol after research I believe it's done 1-3 months prior to wedding..my mom really wanted April, so April 28th is mine..

I say you should shoot for April, I didn't want mine to close to the wedding as not to seem greedy lol

I chose not to have my shower as a surprise. Mine is probably going to be in June because the summer months are so hard to coordinate with everyone. So, I guess mine will probably be 3 months ahead of time. I also wanted mine spread out a bit from the shower and bachelorette party.

We are shower twins!!!!!!

My first one is this Saturday and the other one is on the 24th!!!!! YAY!!!

But Mildred, to answer your question, I think 1-3 months prior is the usual time frame

I personally hate surprises so I'd rather know when mine is and so I can look cute!

I would LOVE to know when my shower is going to be........... I know my sister (MOH) wont tell me and none of my BM's will either.........Maybe I can ask my dad

Knowing him, he'll give me the wrong date

So as much as I dont want it to be a suprise, i bet its going to be
