How far from...

your RH is your hotel where you are making blocks (if you are making blocks)

I found a hotel thats about 10 min away from our RH but its 199 a night. but then i found another one thats about 25 min from it for 139.

Is 25 min too far?? I feel like it is...

ours is about a 6-10 minute drive away from the RH.

As far as it being too far, maybe you can give people the option. Block rooms at both and let your guests decide. They may pay the extra $ to stay at the closer one and the ones that don't want to will either go to the hotel further away or just not stay in a hotel at all.

We have one that is ~10 min from the RH @ $199/night

We have another ~15 min away from the RH @ $159/night

Our's is about 15-20 min. away; $149/night, I think? I can't remember.

The closer ones were either way pricy or didn't have a bar, which we need.

I also just realized that the one that is 25 min away is also closer to where most of my fam is coming from, so they might want to stay there. The thing is my RH is so far from my house that 25 min isnt even a far drive considering the hour it takes to get there from my house lol and i have a lot of fam coming from jersey and queens.

Our original hotel was 10-15 min away. But they decided to close for renovations so I had no choice but to switch it over to a hotel thats about 25 minutes away. I'm not happy but there's nothing I can do at this point. The upside is the guests are closer to home.
Oh well. They'd complain if the wedding was across the street from their house. I don't care anymore. They'll never be happy. I'm not letting them ruin my day.

i booked my blocks back in june for our sept wedding and both of them are $189 and $199! i think thats high but i guess it is what it is...

i was going to look at further hotels but then i thought i should supply a shuttle and that could be costly too so i just booked the closer hotels and whoever wants to stay will.
