How far in advanace did you start your dress search?

I am scared to start looking with my wedding almost a year away bc I'm scared I'll fall in love with something and then second guess myself. Help!

How far in advance did you start your search/did you pick your dress already??

I went looking about a year before the wedding. Turns out I found my dress on my first day shopping. I was happy with about a year out to start just in case it took me a long time to find something. I didn't want to worry about it not coming in in time.

I purchased mines March 9 and it came in the beginning of this month. My wedding is not till September 2011 but I found the ONE so I'm fine with that.

Crashing!!

My wedding is this October and I started my search in June of last year. I took my time and finally found something 4 months later.

I say you can start, but take your time and be picky!!
