How far in advance....

did you order your veil??

My mom said we should take a trip to Barron's to check out their veils (I already ordered my dress and have a pretty good idea of what kind of veil I want). I don't think I would order it now...but I want to get an idea of when I should order it.

I ordered my veil in July (I think). I just got it last weekend. Barron's can take a while because they custom make everything, but you certainly don't have to do it now if you don't want to.

i went for my first fitting last Saturday & i ordered my veil then. it happened that the one i tried on in the store was brand new, in package still so they gave me that one.

from Barrons, you can put in the order and ask for it when you want it. i would just go sooner than later since Barrons is so popular but you definately have plennnttty of time. i ordered mine about 2 months ago and asked for it in February.

edited cuz i thought you were May of 2010 but i realize you are 11

I am using my mom's but if I was ordering a veil I would probably do it around the time I ordered my dress.

i ordered mine in august after my dress came in and i was able to get a piece of the fabric to make sure it matched.

I ordered my veils back in may when i went my gown came in...it took about 3 months to finish them (they are custom),..i'm going to see them tomorrow so i'm excited!
