How far in advance....

Should you book the reception hall, especially at the jericho terrace??

I would book as soon as possible, especially since you are planning to get married in September, which is high season. I booked my wedding at another popular venue and it was January 2010, and there were only a handful of dates left in the entire summer

You should book it as soon as you are sure it is the one. You have plenty of time to look at places and fall in love. If you have already done this and know that you found the place then book. You will get the 2011 prices which is nice.

I booked the end of August 2010 for my April 2012 wedding. So we were able to get 2010 prices!

I should add, book it if you're sure, but make sure that you ARE sure. Your vision of your wedding can change so much. My original wedding was a December Christmas theme whole winter wedding and now I am having a garden theme JUNE wedding HAHA.

Why JT? Have you looked at other places to compare? Does it meet criteria you set, or are you just booking it on reputation, etc?

If you're sure I would book it to lock in your date and prices, and then you can move on to other vendors and never have to worry about being turned away. I booked 18 mos in advance and not only was my hall booked on the original date we wanted, but once I did book my current date I had several vendors tell me they were already booked!

As soon as you can. You will be able to lock in your date early. I booked my venue in the beginning of October 2010 for my July 20, 2012 wedding.

The sooner the better on all major vendors. Hall, photo/video, music. Lock in those prices before they go up !

We're booking our hall on Sunday for Friday, September 7, 2012.

JT is a very popular hall, so I would definitely book it ASAP especially since you already know it's where you want to have your wedding.

Hey well I have been looking at other venues as well but I am just awe struck with Jericho terrace, no other places (as much as I try to) even compares to what I want and what I get from Jericho Terrace....Which is why I really want this venue!!! :)

OMG this was our exact date.. we wanted Friday the 13th 2013 We are already married ( city hall) and got married Feb 13th last year which was a friday the 13th and ever since we have been blessed in soo many ways.. we feel this day brought us luck.. but after shopping around we are willing to change bc of the cost..

it sure is!!! BTW JT's food is out of this worldddddddd food is amazing.. if it wasnt bc i been to weddings here before and wanted something new.. I would've def booked JT hands down... good luck on ur search

Just repeating what everyone else said.... Book it soon! to lock in prices and the date.

We book in Sept 09 for our April wedding... And our date is not even popular. I don't know anyone else getting married on our date.

If you love it, I say go for it!

Since it's early in 2011, you may even be able to get 2010 prices, and you'll have lots of time to start working on your other vendors.
