How far in advance do you send out invitations?

the plan is to send ours this w/e but i have a feeling something will happen and i won't be ready and we'll be sending it out next w/e - so that's about 2 months before

10 weeks before the wedding date and the RSVP date was 5 weeks before.

I was told if it's a summer wedding you should do more than 8 weeks in advance....

We sent ours out about 2.5 months in advance, but I think you're fine with just 2 months (8 weeks) notice. We just sent ours out b/c they were all ready to go! :)

2 1/2 months before (1 1/2 before RSVP date)

Was going to do the standard 3 months but I just thought it was too early for me

almost 3 months. Mine are going out before the postage goes up on the 17th of April because I bought the postage back in october

I'm planning about 3 months ahead as well, we have alot of OOT guests that need to book hotel rooms
