How far in advance..

can you block hotel rooms? I am getting married on a holiday weekend so I was just wondering what the usual time frame is.. Thanks

I did mine with around 11 months to go before wedding...

Hey July Bride! I am getting married the same weekend as you! I actually tried to do mine early because of the holiday and the Hampton Inn ( where I have a room block) would not let me do it any earlier than a year in advance so I would say as soon as you can look into it, being that it is a busy weekend.

I would block them now. I blocked my rooms a year before my wedding. Just so I know I would have the rooms.

We blocked our 8 months in advance, and I just had to increase my block due to overwhelming guest response Since you have a Holiday weekend I would recommending making sure you block enough rooms, just make sure you don't have to pay if they don't all fillup.
