How far in advance did everyone order their invitations?
My mom is telling me that I shouldnt be looking for them in January because if I find one I want to order it would be too early to order them. She says I should wait till at least March.

Just got mine. I had trouble finding ones I liked. I'd say at least 4-5 months in advance.

I ordered mine about 7mths in advance. I happened to find ones that I liked so since I had everything set I ordered them then. Besides I like having everything done in advance - no stress that way - or so I hope!

We started looking a few months ago, just to see what is out there. We found one we like and are going to order it this weekend. The snow the past few weekends has stopped us from getting that done. But this weekend it is!!!

I got mine already, but my printer said you don't need to order them until only a few months before the wedding. Invitations don't take very long to come in and if you are going to have them for a while before sending them out, you have to be careful to keep them in the box, out of the light and away from humidity.

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED IN JULY AND HAVEN'T ORDERED OURS YET. I PLAN ON LOOKING STARTING IN JANUARY.

I was told to start seriously looking 4 to 6 months in advance. Ours just came in on Friday, we ordered them about a month ago.
