How Far in advance did you.........

I went looking for the second time last night.My wedding is in may of 2004. I am hoping to order within the next month. It is getting very hard to choose one. They are all so beautiful.

I suggest going to Helens in Hauppauge. They were very nice and had a wide selection. They also have very nice bridesmaid dresses. I picked out 4 for my girls already.

I started looking about 8 months before my wedding and bought my dress about 7 months before. I was lucky because I didn't need to order my dress - I bought a dress from a sample sale, so it's being stored at the bridal salon until I go for my fittings.

I suggest the Bridal Garden in Bethpage and Lillette's in Baldwin.

I'm sort of unusual because I have to have 3 gowns for my Eur-Asian wedding. I order one at the 9 month mark, another at the 7 month mark and I will be ordering the other one next week.
Personally, if you find the dress and love it, order it as soon as you can. Time can be a good thing.
