Some girls wait until 4 months before! So anytime before that is fine depending on the dress!

I only have one, and she got lucky - she went to the Jessica McClintock store @ Roosevelt Field and was able to get a dress right off the rack.
I think a lot depends on where you are ordering them through, the designer, and how many alterations they will need.

we did them four months before on netbride and they were still here two months early.

5 months in advance....I ordered them in April and they are not in yet....I wish I had ordered them sooner!
