how far in advance did you book ur florist?

i have a little over a year left until my wedding and everyone keeps telling me that it is too soon to book the florist...

what do you think?

We booked an year and a half ahead.

I just booked this week and I am 9 months out...This was the last big vendor I booked.

Your not crazy... I booked 17 months ahead of time... I just got freaked out about my date being popular and booked everything up early!

For flowers I booked about 3 months in advance (but I'm using a local florist, not a wedding specialty florist).

we didn't book yet. that is next on our list. probably in august or september.

i think I am going to make my appt for august

I dont even know what i like so at least to see what is available at the time I am getting married

I am probably the exception. I booked mine about 22 months before. I booked it right after the hall. I knew I didn't want to spend a lot. I knew basically what I wanted (and it hasn't really changed since then) and it was something I was really excited about booking so I went for it.

i swear i hate more than anything when someone tells me 'OH YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME'



i second this notion....FIL's are paying for the flowers and the limos and i keep suggesting that we go book them I even said i would be the deposit incase money was the issue....and they keep telling me that we have so much time left.

i havent booked yet.. we are gonna start looking in sept. which would have me at 14months out.
