I figured about 4 months ahead. I have so much going on over the next month I would like to put the stress of honeymoon plans off just a little longer till I can really focus and research.. Thoughts about the time frame??

We booked about 9 months in advance because we knew where we wanted to go and couldn't wait any longer! We were too excited - it was the easiest part of planning!

I booked my cruise 1 1/2 years in advance - when the prices came out. Also the flights when they came out about 10 months before. I like doing it way in advance because I find I get the best prices that way.

We haven't booked yet. Even though we're getting married in May, we're not going until the end of July/beginning of August. We've done research and we have a few itineraries to choose from. We just need to book it!

Thanks everyone! I kinda feel like booking months and months ahead is not how I usually plan my vacations and so far I have never had any issues with my travel arrangements. I don't know if I am missing the reasons why people keep telling me I have to book ASAP.. I usually book any vacation about 3-4 months ahead sometimes in even less time! But I guess either way I should just do it soon

We booked our hotel 6 months in advance and our flights 2 months in advance..

We started the hunt for things about 6 months in advance, but kept going back and forth. Ended up booking everything about 4.5 months (just recently finished it all up). Your time line seems about right!
