How far in advance do shower invitations go out?

I would say anywhere from 4-6 weeks is good. Mine went out 4 weeks prior.

Mine went out 8 wks prior because the RSVP date was early due to when the hall wanted pymt in full.

I would say no less than 3 weeks and no more than 6 weeks.

4 weeks before seems to be the average.

My sister sent my invitations out today and the shower is September 30th. 5-6 weeks sounds like a good amount of time.

I would say 4-6 weeks too. I would also try to make the RSVP date 5 or 6 weeks prior to the wedding, therefore it gives you extra time to get things together (seating, favors).

My mom sent them out the first week in July, RSVP date was August 1st and my shower is next weekend!
