I am waiting to officially purchase the Bridesmaid Dresses which is going to be this summer (they are picked out just waiting for my pregnant sister in law to give birth so that she can get measured!)

Not that far in advance...
My brother is getting married at the end of Aug (FH is a groomsmen) and they haven't even gone for their tuxedos yet...
We have PLENTY of time :)

I think a few months before the wedding. That is like one of the last things to do
I don't even want to think about it because to me that is harder then picking out BM dresses!

We saw a tuxedo place at one of the showcases and they told us 6 months in advance.

honestly, you can probably cut it short and it a month before..
i'm going to go in september or october for my wedding in january.

a tuxedo guy at a bridal show told me 6 months you could start looking....however some people do it a few weeks before
