how far in advance do u book the Rehearsal dinner?
i wasnt sure when to book the reheasal dinner. i wasnt even thinking about it and now im like 'oh snap maybe i should start thinking about booking it!'

I booked with my church a few weeks ago b/c we needed to do it the night before b/c of oot guests in the bp. And I am booking the dinner today. I think you can wait but if you know what you want you might as well do it now right?

Depends where you're having it and their policy. We want to book ours at the restaurant where we are getting married. They told us that we can't book it until 6 months before. So we can't even book it until next month.

I wanted to have a relaxed backyard RD, but my inlaws wanted to pay for it and have something a bit more formal. They said they would cover it and plan it, so of course I agreed...but I've got plenty of time before that one!

Start thinking about who you want there that way you can start calling places to get prices.

Im probably going to do that a few months before the wedding...depend on where your having it and how many people are attending. -Helene-

someone has suggested to me as their best piece of advice was to book the rehersal dinner one week before the wedding (if everyone involved in the wedding lives in the area) therefore you get it out of the way and you can also party with everyone that night instead of the night before your wedding.
I haven't gotten around to booking a restaurant yet, but I guess it all depends on how busy it will get around that time of year.

we booked a month in advance at the restaurant we were having it at. Although, I wouldnt suggest waiting that long cause the place we really wanted to have our RD at was already booked. We really just forgot that was something we had to do until the last minute. Oooops.
