how far in advance should I start tanning? I was thinking 6 months before going twice a week...to work on it slowly. or, does it really matter? should I just go every other day a couple months before?
who else is tanning for the big day?

I just realized I should start soon....I need a good base for the honeymoon plus a slight glow wouldnt hurt for the big day.
I dont have much time to go so I think I will start now and go maybe 10 times

I think this is such a tricky situation. You need to keep in mind that you might peal and such. I am always pretty tanned in the summer. But I think next summer I am staying out of the sun until after the wedding. I am so torn cause I love having a little more color. Keep in mind though that being too tanned might look a little strange too especially if everyone else isn't as dark as you.

I just want a base tan-I usually only peal a few days after the first couple of times. then I'm good. I'm italian so I don't have issues with tanning or burning, etc. I think I'm going to start in the beginning of next summer that gives me over 3 months to work on it, and I won't allow myself to get too dark.

I was dark during the beginning of the summer, when I first tried on my dress and I hated it.
I thought I was way to dark for it.
So since I have tan skin for the most part year round, I probably won't start going till 1 mth before just to get a little color. I don't burn or peel either.

I'm going to start 2 months before, maybe once or twice a week. I don't want to be too tan. Just enough for a little color and to keep my skin clear.

Two to three months should be plenty of time to get a good base.
