my wedding was July 1st
my bridal shower was April 30th
my bachelorette party was May 5th-6th
(bachelorette party was a bit early because my MOH and I were doing a joint bach. party since we would have been planning for eachother with many of the same friends anyway-her wedding was june 2nd, so we needed a time that would be okay for both of us-worked out perfectly)

my bridal shower was in May and my bachelorette was in July...we went to a spa and we went the Sunday before my wedding..so I was nice and relaxed ![]()

I need to let you know that we needed to plan WAY in advance because I worked weekends and all my BMs were from OOT. So, I needed to get time off and some of them had to get flights.
My wedding was: 4/1/2006
My original shower was: 9/23/2005 (but my mom couldn't fly down that weekend, luckily no exact plans were made)
Shower actually was: 2/4/2006
It's hard to coordinate everyone, even if they are in town. This is a problem every MOH has, coordination of everyones schedule. If there isn't a shower by 4 weeks before the wedding, then that's rough for the guests that need to a get a shower gift and a wedding gift.
BTW.... my bachelorette party and shower were the same weekend. It was great!!!! We did it that way for my best friend too because most of us had to travel.
