How far in advanced(invitations)..?

Hi ladies!

How far in advanced are you sending out your wedding invitations? I keep reading all different things so I'm not really sure. I'm getting married at the end of April so I'm thinking of sending them out end of February? Is the RSVP date usually a month before the wedding? Thanks! :)

How far in advanced(invitations)..?

We're planning on sending ours out in January with an RSVP date of early March. We're boarding with spring break since Easter is the weekend before our wedding so we want to make sure to get them out a little early.

How far in advanced(invitations)..?

I am sending them out Oct 1st with a Dec 1st RSVP date. It gives us some time if we should receive any no's we can still send some more invites out. Also if we have not heard back from people it allows us time to reach out to them.

I was wondering the same thing. Our wedding is the day after Thanksgiving, so should I send them out a little earlier than normal? Or do you think it would be ok at about 4 months since we are sending out STD's too?

Our wedding is 4/18/15 and we made our RSVP date for March 30th. So we are sending them out the first week of March

Our wedding is the same date. I am planning on sending them earlier since its a big travel weekend. It will also give us time to send out a round 2 if we receive a lot of 'no''s. We are also sending out STD, but just want to give people as much time as possible to arrange travel plans, if needed.

How far in advanced(invitations)..?

I'm getting married in May and I'm sending them out the first week of March. I want to give myself enough time to chase the late responders and invite my B list if needed.

How far in advanced(invitations)..?

We are getting married in October, so we will be sending them out 8 weeks before, with an RSVP of a month before. It's a small wedding so hopefully that works out lol We are also sending out STD's a year in advance since our wedding falls on a holiday weekend.

I was thinking the same thing. Most of our out of state family already know to plan for that weekend, I would just like to get them out early so that we have time for our B list in case we don't make our minimum the first time around.
