I was looking at the wedding timeline today and it was at the 3 month point the guys should be ordered. FH already did his and we're getting married in January...

I agree - but that's what it said.... We have FH already measured and I'm going to make sure that by the 3 month mark the guys are DONE already....

They can always go three DAYS before and then have to BUY them like my FH did for his friends' wedding ....



Some men just don't have a clue. (Needless to say, we are going to try to use the one he owns for our wedding - if we can get matching ones for his BM, dad and my dad ...)

I think 3 months sounds appropriate ... maybe 4 if you are nervous?

are they renting? FH wanted to use one for our e-shoot and Men's Wearhouse and various other places said they prefer to have at least a week but some could do it in a few days. We had to get one on REALLY short notice..so we went to this place in Queens that sells them for $100!! He got a tux, shirt, vest, and tie for $110!!! The quality is pretty good, too!! We're bringing the GM back there to get their tuxes

I was told three months is plenty of time by every tux place i inquired about. I may go earlier because I may have to order the ties and buy them myself.

My FH is still waiting to go he wants to wait until Football season starts and go with the guys (they all watch the games together every Sunday).

He won't be going until about 2 months before our wedding.

I guess because they are renting them they can wait until 3 to 2 months.

I plan on doing the tuxes 6 months in advance, if I even get tuxes.. while we're on the tux topic, is there any place that rents out suits instead of tuxes?

I was told the other bc I stopped in after my dress that at least by April, I am getting married in Sept of 08 because of prom season, so figure 6-7 months before the wedding...
