How far should the church be to RH??

I think it all depends on how many ppl are going to the church and how uch time is in between and where you hotel block is.

It's really your call. Mine are about 30 minutes apart. When my best friend got married, it was almost an hour drive.

I agree..it all depends on you...ours is about 25 mins apart with regular traffic

ours is about 20-30 mintues but our friends church was in queens and their reception was at Giorgio's, they had a good turn out to the church

mine is 15-20 minutes. I wouldn't want to go over an hour.

Out church is in the city whille rh is in woodbury... Pretty far but we wouldn't have it any other way.

mine was about 30 mins away!

i also had a big gap inbetween the church and the reception...

my chruch started at 2:30 and the CH started at 6:00

mine was about 30 mins apart but I also had a gap btw ceremony and CH so ppl just went to the hotel and hung out there and got ready...

It all depends. I personally wouldn't be a fan of a church that was an hour away from the RH, but regardless its not my call. You just have to remember that people have to travel however far to the church, then to the RH, then home after they've been drinking and partying.

Mine is about 25 min. but with friday traffic it might be 35-40

i booked a different venue than i was originally thinking so it will be about a 15 minute drive

I tried to stay within an hour.. WE're getting married in FH's church in Brooklyn and I was hoping for an LI wedding, so we stuck to Nassau, because I didn't want to run the risk of traffic or an accident reall yhindering us or anyone else getting there.

For example, I woul dhave loved to look at Giorgios or Old Field but I didn't bother, they were too far from church for us. It didn't make sense logistically to spend so much time in the car.
