How forgiving are you?

For the most part, do you hold grudges, do you forgive and forget or do you forgive but never forget?

Petty things? I let them go. Stuff that is important to me- I'll hold a grudge.

It depends.. Like if I was cheated on I would never be able to forgive or forget. If its something little then its easy

Unfortunately, I am pretty good at holding grudges. If I am burned really bad by someone, I hold onto my grudge for awhile. I am working on it, but ultimately, at some point, I usually forgive

I always forgive...but I never forget.

ETA: I could never hold a grudge. Not worth the ulcer. Although part of me thinks that it's cause I'm afraid of karma! So much better to forgive...kind of selfish actually...you feel sooo much better after you've forgiven!

I'm a sucker... I'll forgive willingly, but do it again and I'll hold a grudge for life.

I agree too, that it often depends on the offense - like it will take a looooong time for me to be ready to forgive my sister for criticizing my parenting skills. That's not something I take lightly.

I can forgive and forget most things. Some things (like trying to ruin my relationship with FH b/c you are a jealous evil FSIL) I can forgive, but never forget....once bitten, twice shy!!!

Depends on the item to be forgiven. I never forget though.

I hold grudges. I've got one going on 2 years now and another going on 1 year.

They burned me pretty bad. I guess it's not even a grudge cause I'll never talk to these people again. Life's too short to have jerks around.

I don't hold a grudge and for the most part I forgive and forget however if someone was to really piss me off I would NEVER forgive and forget. I would cut them out of my life completely, once someone gets on my bad side there is no turning back.
