How has your life changed....

Since you've been engaged?

I read this article in Modern Bride this morning, it was really cute.

My life has a little extra stress added since being engaged
BUt seriously, I think I wake up with a smile everyday no matter what

i dunno, if it has changed drastically, but i do feel blessed to have found someone i connect with on so many levels. I guess life is just a lil easier when you have someone by your side.

Mine hasn't changed much either, especially since FH and I already lived together.
However, I have been more money conscious, so I guess I can say that's changed.

I feel as if my FH is a 'safety blanket'. I've always had a sense of security but now it seems so complete. And, it's such a good feeling knowing that I always have his undivided attention in every aspect of my life.

it hasnt.... i mean with the exception of the real serious talks about moving in together and what kinda place we're gonna buy in what area.... Thats about it ....

im more stressed. i've taken on a 2nd job to help pay for the wedding and that is super stressful.

I'm not such a nag anymore! Before we were engaged, I have to admit - I bothered him a lot about getting engaged. That would start stupid fights and then I would nag about dumb things. Now I just feel so happy and blessed. I dont think we've fought once since getting engaged!

Even though we have been together for 71/2 years the commitment lever has gone so much higher now. It's amazing what a ring, promise can do. All of our decisions are combined now and everything is working toward the future where as before it was for the moment. It's a great sense of security, love, and devotion. I cant imagine how marriage will change us but I can't wait!!!

My life has changed in the sense of wedding planning. Also, since we decided that we want to get married at a church, and now that we are going to mass weekly, I feel closer to and more secure with him.

haha now instead of saying 'if we ever get married _______' or 'if we ever have kids _______' it's become 'WHEN we get married _____' or 'WHEN we have kids _______'

Well, I guess the only thing that has changed is that my left ring finger isn't empty anymore.

Also, like someone said, its nice to be able to say, 'WHEN we get married' rather than, 'IF we get married' when discussing life stuff.

Other than that, life is pretty much the same, and its great!!

I'd say the biggest change is all the plans we have been talking about for our future and our wedding can be discussed with everyone now. It used to feel like it was just something between us and now I can talk to my mom or his mom about it and everyone else. Things have also gotten a little bit more stressful too but I expected that.

those are my feelings exactly. we live together already (and for awhile now) so the practical stuff has remained the same. i mostly have this feeling that we're really one unit now and for the long haul, which feels safe and has fanned the fires, so to speak.

I don't think it has changed me too drastically but I can say that FH and I are much more focused on our future like really saving for our house and getting savings accounts together and stuff like that.

HELL! All i do is look at wedding stuff!!!!....this is a very exciting time for me...I am happier now I am engaged because I know that im going to be spending the rest of my life with my soulmate
