How have you saved the most money? DIY? Cutting Corners? etc...
I have networked my heart out and have booked a dj only $300, florist $200 and a photographer $400 through networking with co-workers and friends. My FMIL is creating all of my placecards and my mom is doing the invitations. I love saving money!!!!! For those of you that have saved alot I would love to share in your happiness!!!!

The only way I am saving money is by planning this shin dig myself rather than hiring a planner. So.....I guess thats not such a good thing.

haha ok here's mine
1-my site fee is less then 300.00 and food will be less than 1200.00 (aprox 10.00 a head - connections are great!!) 2-forgoing the limo (got a friend w/awesome car instead!) 3-DIY favors w/donation to shelter 4-DIY invitations (call me cheap but Walmart has lesser prices than Michaels!!) 5-DIY makeup (won't have someone else touch my face!) 6- Photographer 400.00 + a friend at the house who is amazing for free 7- doing all the cocktail hour foods between me and my bridesmaids 8-looking still for someone local to do the cake 9- DJ for 300.00 10- DIY Centerpieces
We wanted a more intimate casual wedding that was still awesome so we are having at the local beach/park with volleyball nets and a play area for the kids and it's so romantic there!!

the #1 way I have saved is by living at home with my parents. I have also cut back on my shopping habits which has been really hard.

I need to move back home...which reminds me rent is due today.
My mom picked up the tab to my dress. I made the invites and STD myself. We splurged on a photgrapher. My makeup is going to cost me $200 My friends mom may do my hair. We are only using one limo. We know the florist.

Well let's see. DJ is a personal friend of mine so I got a great deal on that. I am doing my own cake topper.
And I really got a great deal on my flowers b/c I ordered 30 centerpieces.
