Since my dress has detailing on the bottom, I need to order it at the correct length. So I have to decide on my heel height before I can place the order. I can definitely wear heels, even spikes, but I want to be comfy all day so I will probably go for a thicker heel. What heights are you girls getting? I am short, but nothing will change that, so I'm at a loss as to what I should wear to have my dress measured.

i'm not sure yet so i didn't vote, but i'm thinking btw 2 and 3, definitely not higher - my feet and legs couldn't handle it.

i am rarely in heels so anything higher than one inch is unreasonable for me. just over the weekend i wore 1.5 inch heels and i still have blisters! oucherroo! so.. during my wedding day i went with comfort. i wore slippers. =D

I'm wearing flat shoes. I never wear heels and I'm not going to start on my wedding day!
Mine are 3.5 - I love heels and they give me a lot of confidence...so I'm going to suffer through the discomfort.

3 inches was needed for my dress. The bottom is very detailed too. Cannot imagine what it would cost to bring that hem up...

I have two pairs of shoes - one is actually 3 inch heels and one is flats! We'll see which ones I actually wear (or maybe I will wear the tall for the ceremony and short for the rest)!
I'm not a heel person at all, but I found the tall ones and they were GORGEOUS!

I had to have the same kind of measurement and I wore a 2' heel. But then she said I could go to a 2.5' or even 3' if I want. I dunno yet, haven't started shopping for shoes.

Oh, so its not bad if you choose one size heel to get the measurement in, and then decide to wear slightly higher? I guess lower would be bad though.

I am going with a two inch heel I had to tell the girl at my salon the size of the h eel that I would be wearing cuz the dress has detailing at the bottom and they needed to order the proper length so I am going with the 2 inch heel

I am going to low so that i am comfortable all day no higher then 2 inches - but i need something because FH is a foot taller then me i'm 5'3 he is 6'3
