I know a few of you ladies have gone to Burtons for your flowers and have said they are very reasonably priced. I know they charge based on quantity not the type of flowers you choose. I'm just trying to get an idea of how much a dozen ivory roses for my self and 7 bridemaids bouquets consisting of just a half dozen of ivory roses would be. What do you ladies consider reasonable for something like that?

i cant see that being exopensive at all...maybe a few hundred. are you sure you only want 12 for yourself and 6 for the girls? thats rather small.
i got a quote from burtons for the following: 1 bride bo-k 8 BM's bo-k's 5 corsages flower girl basket and flowers petals for petal cones 2 ceremony arrangements i think that was it...it was around $800

Wow that's not nad at all. I have no idea how many roses i should get...i am clueless when it comes to these things I want a nice full bouquet and i want my girls to have smaller ones obviously but i don't know how many roses that would consist of. Did you show them a pic of what you wanted or did you just go and pick things out? Help go in the right direction... I am so CONFUSED!!!!

It could be b/c I was asking for specialty flowers for the time of year I'm getting married, but I found them to be in the middle of the quotes I was getting. They weren't the highest, but they also weren't the cheapest. I suggest you check out Jen @ Verbena too!! She was great!!

ETA: I forgot the cake flowers are included too.

We paid about 900 for 7 CPs, my bouquet, three BM bouquets, like 12 bouts, and 5 corsages.

i didnt even discuss flower type with her. i told her what i needed...she showed me a sample of the size of the bo-k's and she gave me a price. since they say it doesnt matter the flower she said she wouldnt need to know the kinds of flowers. i ended up not booking with them, i'm actually paying more for flower michele but i felt mor comfortable with them. as someone else mentioned..jen from verbena is great, i met with her as well

I didn't know what i wanted either. Go meet w/ them and they'll help u. They'll help u pick out the types of flowers and will tell u how many flowers should be in a Bo-K.

i dont think yours will be expensive at all- you'd be surprised - she'll probably give you some more ideas that you can get for a great price- bring lots of pics to them....
I got: my bo-k 6 BM bo-k's 3 kissing balls 15 boutneers 3 corsages 14 Centerpieces- petals for ceremony flowers for cake table & flowers for card table
for about $1500
and all of that i got quoted from a different florist for $2500.....

Honestly, I hate to knock people but I wasn't thrilled about Burtons. I felt they were a little out dated for my taste but thats just me. We were just not on the same page when it came to ideas for the centerpieces. However, as you know maney brides on here love what Burtons created for them. I went with Verbane. Jen is awesome and she totally got me. See, my cp are going to be different because I am actually incorporating butterflies into them (long story and when I get pictures of the sample centerpiece I will post.) I got quoted at 2,045 and that includes:
my bok with crystals in the center of the stephonas(spelt wrong whoops) 1 toss bok 5 bm boks 7 botiners 4 corsages for moms and grandmas pedals for the flowergirls 2 big arrangements for the church which she is going to pick up after the reception and drive to the catering hall 20 cps
