not at all I think my mom has asked about the wedding twice but this is part of the reason we are not close

She'll ask what I've been upto lately with all the wedding plans but that's about it.
I think it's better that way. The less input, the less stress on me.

They like to know what's going on and I show my mom ideas, but she's told us many times, as have FH's parents it's our wedding and we should do what makes us the most happy.

Very little...my mom in the loop about stuff and I ask for her input sometimes but we've been trying to plan everything ourselves. Mom can be a little overbearing. Dad just kind of goes with the flow lol!

my mother is a craze about the wedding!! I cant make any decisions without her or she gets upset that I am leaving her out......


and if i choose things i like, she says its ridiculous and that i cant

my mom and mil have been helping me with alot and of course the major decisions are from me and fh and then we talk to them and tell them

Not so much. My parents live out of state. I show my mom everything I am looking at and what not, but it is moreso the idea, it's our wedding!

my mom is very involved, but i want her to be. she made all of my centerpieces and is ver helpful all around. she doesn't stress me out

Dad nothing. He's a guy loll my mom has been helping with typing up lists so far. I mean they are giving us some money so that def counts right?!

I wish my mom could be involved. She is in alaska and afraid of technology so it's hard!!! I keep telling her we could video chat and she could see everything but she is stubborn and my dad refuses to get internet!!!! They still have dial up!!!! Then she cries she isn't involved!!!!

I am doing most of it. I email my mom and FMIL about things, and I talk to my mom almost daily. If I have done something or have an idea, I let her know and see what she thinks.

But they aren't super involved at all

My mom and dad both give opinions but only when I ask. They are letting us do the bulk of the work and don't really want to help, jsut give opinions...

My mom is pretty much planning our wedding since we are OOT. She has been so instrumental in getting pretty much everything done. Thank goodness for her or I would not even have anything done! She also gives us lots of opinions, but pretty much lets us do what we want, even if she doesn't like it. But overall she is so helpful

My dad I will sum up by his favorite quote 'Just tell me where to sign the check and what time to show up'

they are involved since they will be paying for some things but they had no say on what florist, dj or RH per say that we use. Its all be in our court.

My dad not so much lol he just asks about it from time to time, my mom though is VERY much involved bc of my doing. I'm very close with my mom. She has gone to many appts with me when FH isn't around and some when he was to help compare. And she's also helping money wise so I think its only right she gets involved plus I like her involved bc FH isn't always lol! And my inlaws FMIL tries to be but she doesn't understand a LI wedding compared to a upstate wedding its A LOT different and I don't think she understands that I don't want everything to be a DIY lol but I love her at least trying!

exactly !! lol my mom is the same way she'll ask here n there oh n she wants to come for the cake tasting thats about it, lets see if she goes cuz i asked her before to help me pick things out n just neva seems to make it but like u sed less stress !!! def right on that one
