How involved are your parents with wedding planning?

Haha same with my dad and I notice his hair is turning more gray as the checks get bigger

My mom is super helpful and to be honest I can't make a decision without her or else I second guess myself. She's the calmness behind my stress!!

My mom is a little to involved lmao and my in laws to be only gets involved when i ask her 2

My dad tells me he wants to know everything but then acts annoyed that im bothreing him lol

exactly !! lol my mom is the same way she'll ask here n there oh n she wants to come for the cake tasting thats about it, lets see if she goes cuz i asked her before to help me pick things out n just neva seems to make it but like u sed less stress !!! def right on that one

That's MY mom! I wish she would act more excited but I hardly get any input or interest from her :( she would probably be more excited if I was pregnant!

my mom is very involved, but I still live with them, so we spend many nights up till 1am talking about plans and starting DIY projects. My dad's input goes about like this...

'you're paying WHAT for music??'
'you need THAT many flowers!??' hahahaha

My FIL's know what's going on when they ask at holidays or bday parties...

Not a ton. She's gone with me dress shopping but that's about it. I told her how much our photographer was and she freaked out (she actually had my uncle take pics at her wedding so she really has no idea), so now I don't tell her too much about cost. LOL.
I'm hoping she's going to help with all the little crafty things because she's good at stuff like that. I'm also hoping she will help me pick my veil and shoes and jewelry. She's detail oriented and so that's how she is going to help me! The vendors FH and I can do ourselves. I'm prob picking the florist all alone, but I really don't mind.
FH's parents aren't really involved. His dad gave us some $$ to help, and they came to our tasting, but they really didn't want to tell us what to do. Everyone keeps saying it's our wedding, so we're pretty lucky that no one is telling us what to do!

My parents (all 4 divorced and all remarried) are great supportive when they need to be, and involved in a great way.. so far its been great!!!

unfortunatly, my mother is very opinionated when it comes to EVERYTHING we are planning for this wedding... it has come to the point where i dont tell her ANYTHING and just do what i want... i got tired of fighting over things I want for MY wedding day!

My mom pretty much knows everything. She's always asking how everything is going and if we need help. She's just as excited about the wedding as we are. I mentioned I might make the invitations a DIY project and shes like ooo, i can help!

I think it's better that way. The less input, the less stress on me.

I agree, I don't tell her that much bc I honestly dont wanna hear much of her opinion..esp when it comes to how much something costs. I do try to fill her in a lil things bc I do want her to be somewhat involved and feel apart of it but when it comes down to prices I leave her out.

my MIL was very involved even from a different state she remembered and called to asked about all our appointments and things we got. My mother was not really involved at all she always seemed occupied with other things.

since moving up the wedding, my mom is helping me more and more which i really appreciate but our tastes are very different so we clash alot.
(she HATES that I have red shoes for pictures, but I told her that's the new thing to do )

My dad is no help at all, but I really only see him like once a week.

and my In-laws, try to help if I need it, but know I like to do things on my own so try and stay out of my hair!

very very minimal. My mom has gone shoe shopping with me and went dress shopping but that's about it.

My parents are very much involve in everything. (only FH and I take decision, however, I like sharing them with my parents). In the other hand FH parents pretty much not involve at all.

I am doing most of it. I email my mom and FMIL about things, and I talk to my mom almost daily. If I have done something or have an idea, I let her know and see what she thinks.

I think my mom is ok with it. And my parents are paying for the RH and my FIL's are giving us a generous amount, so I try to tell them what I'm planning. But all of them I think are 100% ok with what is going on and know it is my decision in the end...they just want to be in the loop with what decisions I've made

My mom's very involved. She's kind of like my sounding board, although since FH and I are paying for everything we have all and final say. FH's parents have been pretty hands off.
