since FH has been in NY (2 weeks) he has been really involved. today we did so much DIY projects. he helped make up the donation scrolls and even made the template for our votive placecards!
i was so proud of him, b/c my votives have a slight curve to it and i was getting frustrated trying to get the vellum just right, and he worked on it for a while and got it. we are doing all final appointments together. he wasnt in the country with me in the beginning of the planning so he wasnt really able to help, but now he is helping 110%.

FH goes on all the appts with me...we do not make any decisions without each others input.

FH has no idea who the vendors are and no idea what to expect for this wedding. He's just going to show up and have a good time.

He came to every vendor booking. He booked DJ by himself. Now that we are in the final strectch, he books all the final appointments.

My FH wants to be involved in every decision making process and if he can't make an appt, he asks me to review the details with him ahead of time, so he knows what to expect and we both get what we want.

In the begining FH was really involved. We went to all the vendor appointments together, but now he is useless for lack of the better word. I raise all the concerns with the vendors and sent the payments. I figure since me made all of the big decisions together I can leave him alone until we start to finalize things.

ok he came to the church and to see two halls - but i am going to all my vendors with my MOH she got married in september so she is really helpful
when i get home i just tell him all the important stuff
he gets really aggravated and is not patient at all with most stuff - and i have a lot of fun with my MOH when we go so i havent complained yet - but maybe closer to the wedding it will bother me. . .
the fun part is that since he knows that i am letting him off easy by doing all this stuff without him - he just hands over all the cash for the deposits so i dont have to worry about that!
i think that he is basically going to be one of those - show up at the wedding and stand and look pretty grooms . . . and so far thats fine with me!

My fiance is a deadbeat.
Actually he helps with final decisions and cuts the checks.

Not at all! I like it better that way, though. It's one less opinion...since his parents are already voicing theirs loud and clear. (I am convinced his parents think this wedding is about them.)

My FH is pretty involved in the planning. So far we've gone to all the vendors (the ones we went to so far anway) together and he even came to two bridal expos with me.
