Mine hasnt really been involved much. I send them emails to keep them up with what we have been doing so they can never say we left them out. They ask once and a while how things are going.

In the beginning..NOT AT ALL, just a couple of annoying comments here and there....now I guess they are getting alittle better but nothing to write home to mom about

They are not to involved either. I keep them updated on what we booked. They live in Brooklyn and they think we should have had the wedding and booked vendors from Brooklyn cause they think they have great stuff. Like we dont!

Not really involved at all. Getting them to talk about the wedding is like pulling teeth sometimes - basically if i don't bring anything up they don't ask It used to bother me at first but now I don't let it phase me.

i keep them updated through emails and in person but thats about it
after i get my dress i am going to ask my FMIL to come see it at a fitting
i usually bug her about the wedding with FH has had enough wedding talk for the night! lol

well they thought we were doing everything too early and fast.. but my FMIL was asking me on the phone last weekend what I need help with and what we needed money for.. she is coming with me and my mom for the makeup trial and wants to go dress shopping soon too

Not much really. They don't bring it up unless FH or I do. I did bring FMIL and FSIL along for dress shopping which they were happy about.
It used to bother me that they didn't bring it up bc it made me feel like they were'nt happy or didn't care but I guess it doesn't phase me anymore.

NOT at all involved. FH's mom passed away years ago, my FSIL lives in Florida, and my FFIL is a nice guy, but not into the wedding planning thing. BAsically, it's us and my mom and sisters.

That is exactly what my FHs parents thinkg bbut they are from Staten Island. Tooo funny!!!

just as much involved as my parents. both our parents are paying for the wedding, so i think its important that they both know whats going on and what we are planning on booking and etc.

Neither of our parents are very involved in the actual planning. Both are contributing monetarily, but we're really running the show. We talk to them about what we might do, and ask for opinions/suggestions, but both FH and I really like to control the whole thing. Even my mom told my SIL 'I'm not saying anything to her (meaning me) because I don't want to get into a fight. I know she likes things the way she likes them ...'
Although I've heard FMIL is planning a bridal shower ...

My FH's entire family is extremely involved in the wedding. They treat me more like I'm their own daughter getting married instead of a FDIN. I moved here from FL to be with my FH & they've treated me like one of their own ever since. As for my own parents, they really have no interest at all about the wedding, so I'm thankful that his parents are so wonderful
