How ironic to happen on my 1 year countdown (KINDA LONG)

So today is officially 1 year till mine and my awesome fellow date twins on this site...but I'm not sure if it's just ironic that it was today but a few crappy things this morning...

Last night I had by far the WORST wedding nightmare I've ever had. We were at Venetian and my cocktail hour started but I wasn't married yet so we had to leave to go to the church to get married the BM told us we had to clean up before we left so we had to move these huge round tables before we left. So then I realized my hair and nails weren't done (my nailpolish was pink and all chipped) so there just happened to be a salon next door so I went there to get my hair and nails done. The guy only put one coat of nailpolish on and it looked horrible you could still see the pink underneath and he didn't even do my hair he just put a bunch of huge bobby pins in it and no hairspray so by the time I left the salon my hair came undone. We never made it to the church we just went back into Venetian and found out that the florist never came with the centerpieces or any flowers!!!! That's all I can remember.

I only had like 3 wedding dreams since I've been engaged and I just thought it was ironic to have that on my 1 year...

Now to add to that, on my way to work as I was driving and I look the right to see this old man dressed exactly like my grandpa used to dress with the exact same walk and stature...I then cried the whole way to work thinking that he'll never see me get married. I was SOOO close to him he lived with me my whole life and was like a second father to me

Not a good start to my day

Aww, well, try and be positive. It's one year until the best day of your life. Also, maybe the old man was a sign that your grandfather is looking down on you and is just as excited as you are. It's an exciting day so try and smile!

That means he is with you. It was a sign from him to let you know he is with you and will be with you on your wedding day. The nightmare I believe is saying your wedding day will be beautiful. Hope the rest of your day goes well.

The thing that is funny is when I woke up this morning I was like wow whatever my wedding turns out like will be good because that was the worst and nothing could ever be that bad!!!! I can just picture giulio (my BM) telling my family and I to start moving tables

OH wow i have the exact same dreams...Mine are always getting there late and running around doing things before...recently i had a dream i still had so much left to do and was getting ready but CH already started and it was 9:30 when i got to my wedding. Plus its normal that you had it last night bc of hitting the 1 year mark

awwwww im soooo sorry about your grandpa, but he will be watching from above as his beautiful grand daughter gets married

Aww, sorry you are having such horrible dreams. Unfortunately, we tend to dream of the worst more often than the best. Seeing that elderly man WAS defintely a sign that your grandpa is with you. I haven't had any dreams yet, but toss and turn thinking of everything before going to bed every night...so far I've lost an average of 1.5 hours of sleep a night!

I defiantly agree with all the girls, that your grandfather is just telling you one year from this day that he will be looking down on your beautiful day, and that hes excited as well, and that was his way of saying he will be there!

Congrats on the one year mark soo exciting!! and hopefully your dreams will just remind you what to remember soo that they dont come true .. CONGRATS AGAIN!!!

Congrats on your 1 year mark! Don't worry about the dream. You are so on top of everything, that i cant picture any of that happening to you, so dont stress over that. You're wedding will be gorgeous and perfect. As for your grandpa, i know exactly how you feel, my grandpa lived with us my whole life too and passed away in October. It gets me sad to think that my grandparents (3) and my aunt who passed away in September, wont be there to see me get married too. But I think it was definitely a sign from your grandpa that he is always with you and will be with you one year from today

Melissa don't stress...i have wedding nightmares all the time! The other day i dreamt that I was tying a deck of cards into my MOH's bo-k (i have nightmares for her wedding too) LOL...I don't know why but the florist delivered loose flowers and we had to make our own...don't ask me why there were cards in it...it means nothing...your wedding will be BEAUTIFUL!!!! I know how u feel about ur grandpa too...he'll see it...i'm sure he's very proud of u and the lady youve become...

Aww I would take it as a good sign about your grandpa that he wanted you to know he is with you on this day. Congrats on your 1 year mark
