How is everyone saving money$$$

I need to get a second job, but it is hard finding something after 5 on weekdays and weekends. Any suggestions?

I am having a small wedding (inviting 75 or so) which really cuts down on costs, and am using tax money, took on a tutopring job and started working saturdays. FH is trying to contribute, but is struggling at work a bit lately. I may take out a loan for whatever money I still need at the end.

the hours are Mon- Fridy from 5pm-8pm...its okay if u come 5:15 or 5:30
and i think the salary now starts at $9.00

i know this cuz my friend just started working there... and there looking to hire.. so i just wanted to share w/ u guys

I've been looking for the best deals too. We are only inviting 115 people. I've only beeen spending money on gas. It's been extra hard for us right now b/c we are buying a house and closing in 2 weeks so we are extra poor!!

I have just about 1/2 my paycheck deposited directly into our joint wedding account. I was thinking of working on weekends at Weight Watchers since I'm a lifetime member.

I've considered selling my eggs to help fund this wedding. Luckily it hasn't come to that yet!

retail/waitressing are your best bets for night time hours. i saved $ by finding the best deals for my vendors and keeping the guest list down.

ETA: Or scope out places for doing guest bartending

I shopped around for my vendors and wound up saving a lot that way.

We don't go out to eat anymore and are saving a little money that way. We also cut down on somethings for the wedding like simple candle centerpieces instead of something big. I also picked up another job teaching swim lessons.

second job: like stated above; retail and food services are the way to go.

ways to save $$: i diy'ed A LOT of my wedding items. everything from my invites, to fg baskets, to rb pillow, to seating chart, to aisle runner.
