How is the wording on my save the dates

What do you girls think of the wording.

VERY nice! My engagement party invite says:

'Paul popped the question, Denise said YES! Now let's get together and wish them the best!

Please join us in celebrating the engagement of Paul and Denise...blah blah blah...'

I did something like that for my epart also.

I love those sayings.

Adorable!!

Okay, this is really nit-picky, but I'm an editor and I can't help it, so...
The line 'so please reserve the date we're inviting you' - is there a comma between date and we're? There should be. Or they could be separated into two lines, if there's room, like:
So please reserve the date
We're inviting you!

I know I'm a total dork, but if I got that STD from someone, that run-on sentence would haunt me!

Thank you that is the kind of feed back I wanted. I fixed that. Is there anything else that you see?

I thought the same thing about the comma

Or you can put
'so please reserve this date because we're inviting you'
or some other word besides 'Because'

BTW, technically, even having a comma makes it a run-on, but it's definitely better than nothing. A dash would work fine. But I trust you've got that figured out.

Other than that - again, I warn you this is nit-picky - the line 'formal invitations to follow'...I've always seen that as just a single invitation as in 'formal invitation to follow', since each guest is only getting one, not multiple. Does that make sense? It's no biggie, though.

They really are cute, though - you did a great job!

I absolutely love them .. too cute (good points by the editors on the site, too!!)

If I got one, I'd get a real kick out of it!

I agree w/Two Bugs regarding the grammer, but other than that I think there won't be a dry eye in the house!

I am sure they will be waiting in deep anticipation for the formals!

I did make the corrections that TwoBug said with the comma, but then I printed them and saw here second post. So the formal invitations to come are in there. But one out of 2 is not bad.
